Spring loaded lock pin allows screws to be operated independently. Jaw capacity is 12". Capacity can be increases with the use of Bench Dogs. Connecting chain is long enough to space vise screws 16" apart. Just make wooden jaws to size for your bench. Has low profile ABS Plastic chain cover. Easy to install, all installation hardware and complete instructions are included. No special mortising is required. Comes with two wooden handles. Wood for jaws is not supplied.
