The Ripsaw is a chainsaw* driven bandsaw that offers you a convenient way to drop a tree and after a 10 minute changeover, turn your chainsaw into a portable sawmill. The .050" blade kerf maintains a smooth and accurate cut and also minimizes wood loss that is prevelant with other mills. With a weight of only 45 pounds, the one-person operated RIPSAW can cut lumber from 1/8" to 9" thick. It can easily be carried and operated by one person. The RIPSAW allows you the flexibility of producing dimensional lumber from logs up to approximately 20" in diameter as well as re-sawing precut timbers. With a throat opening of 9"H X 14"W, the possibilities are practically endless.
